DIFC Third-party Building Security Services
Document Submission Platform
Purpose
Welcome to DIFC’s online platform for facilitating compliance by relevant Body Corporates, Owners or Occupiers connected with management or leasing of Third-party Buildings (“Third-party Building Persons”) with the lawful covenants and obligations set out in the following:
Ref – Strata Title Law, DIFC Law No. 5 of 2007 (the Strata Law)
Ref – DIFC Master Community Declaration - Community Rules
Ref – DIFC Security Management Guidelines
Through this platform, DIFC offers Third-party Building Persons a convenient channel for submission of security and other relevant compliance documents directly to DIFC Security.
Background
A Third-party Building is one that is not owned by DIFC. The Strata Law, Master Community Guidelines and the Security Management Guidelines ensure that security requirements are implemented in these properties.
All Third-party Building Persons shall keep their property, and any property contained therein, secure at all times. As such, they and their respective security third-party service providers must comply with all rules and directions of the Master Developer with respect to any security procedures implemented from time to time by the Master Developer and its assigned Security Provider.
Additionally, Third-party Building Persons shall promptly provide any other relevant document or information requested from time to time by the Master Developer’s Security Provider and/or applicable Authorities.
Action
Third-party Buildings may use this service channel to upload the applicable reports, certificates, notifications and any other documents directly to the DIFC Security team.
